'I work in series; each piece is part of a group of works & each group is
defined by a different idea and inspiration. The difference between some
of these groups is subtle but each informs how I approach creating a
piece.
I usually work on several pieces at once and tend to choose what to work
on any given day based on what that particular day suggests. Sometimes
I'm interest in a narrative, sometimes something more meditative,
sometimes I'm simply interested in finding something truthful.'
