We can also help you commission something unique by an artist you admire. HOW DO YOU OWN ART? Once you have found something in the gallery that you want to buy, you can use OWN ART to take out a loan to buy it. We will help you through the process. You need to be: Over 18 years old and in full or part-time employment Resident in the UK In possession of a bank or building society account that can operate standing orders You will need to take two forms of identification with you to the gallery - something with an address on it such as a driver's licence or utilities bill, and something with your signature on it, such as a passport, credit or debit card. We will then help you complete the credit agreement. After satisfactory credit checking, a standing order will be set up to make your repayments. HOW MUCH CAN YOU BORROW? Loans are available up to £2000 or as little as £100. The loan amount can go towards an item that costs more than £2000. It is possible to buy several items at a time providing that the total amount does not exceed £2000. You can also buy several items at different times again providing that the total does not exceed £2000. The amount you borrow is then paid back over 10 months in equal instalments - interest free.* Should you wish to make a purchase from our website using Own Art, but are unable to attend the gallery personally, we may ask you to pay a deposit to hold the item until your credit application has been determined. This will be returned if for any reason , your application for credit is unsuccessful.
